I would rather have a hot career because? Are you going to say $$? Money is not only the wrong answer; it’s a signal to yourself that your ego is masking your inner spirit. If you know yourself, you will either make a lot more money by creating or you will not care about money because you feel so happy.
Keep in mind that these are openings and not supply of workers. Nobody has labor supply numbers and nobody can predict the number of people that go into the “good” careers. If nursing has one million openings and trains two million nurses, good luck.
The good news is that, in the future, there will be a shortage of workers. Labor shortages will exist in response to demographic shifts in Baby Boomer labor supply.
