Government Workers are Overpaid
A lot of people think that working for government means lower salaries. They often avoid taking these jobs while pursuing the most lucrative corporate careers. However, there is a fallacy here.
Economic studies have shown that government workers are actually paid more than anyone in any other industry. How? While the wage is somewhat lower, they have generous benefits and generous working conditions. When you compare the total package, government workers come out on top.
