The best paid careers are doctors, lawyers, pharmacists, teachers, engineers, accountants, high level managers, and sales. However, who actually gets to have the most money.
If you read the book, The Millionaire Next Door, it is a real eye opener. For net worth, you can expect the doctor and lawyer to finish next to last. Why? They have to maintain a high lifestyle coupled with high education cost.
The most likely to be wealthy are actually teachers. Why? They get paid well even though they complain a lot about it. In addition, teachers get to live like they have no money and this allows savings.
Accountants usually do pretty well for themselves. They are conservative and can invest wisely.
Sales people are known for spending their money on lavish expensive things. Many of the best sales people you might find wearing a Rolex or driving a really expensive car. The attribute of looking good helps them sell and it also decreases their net worth.
Engineers have a good opportunity to get wealthy. However, they don’t usually invest wisely.

You are most likely to be wealthy if you drive a Ford F150. This is because most of the average millionaires were simply specialty contractors. You see, most small businesses are in the category of specialty contractor. These small businesses can make more than most doctors or lawyers without the added student loan payments. They can also live like they are poor and save their money.
Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurs make the most money, but it usually isn’t considered a career. It should be. If you try it out, you will most likely fail because it takes a few tries to get it right and most people just give up before the getting is good.
